My daughter uses this type of shoe for her competitions and they hold up fairly well, the elastic wears out before the fabric tears on most canvas or canvas shoes will break even before it wears out. But the list says "small/medium" and they only come in "small", "medium", "large" and "extra large". We usually buy from a dancewear company but they were out of stock in our color and size. We ordered hoping we would get a size we weren't aware of but it's only a small size as advertised by the manufacturer.
