The canister is easy to use, the lid closes easily and is fixed by simply pressing the extra large top button. It even comes with a small plastic spoon. Unfortunately, in my entirely subjective experiment, coffee in this can and coffee in a plain plastic bag ages just as quickly. When you use it to brew your everyday coffee, it holds it no better than any other glass.
