Much better than using the JBL Extreme 2's long strap to move the device from room to room, house to garage, etc. on the long strap when the surface it is standing on is becomes confusing. The latches seem strong enough and should last the life of the button, which I assume will be the life of the speaker. I like that the handle has some "beef". Feels good in hand. I have a hard case that I keep the speaker in when not in use, and although I have to detach it to put it in the case, it's small enough to fit in the side compartment along with the charger. Very satisfied so far!
