Well I can say with confidence yes this glitter does degrade, I've seen it in person. I was hoping to use it for hair gel but after a few weeks the shine in the gel was gone! It seems that heat and liquids eventually degrade the shine. I'm not going to give a bad review because biodegradability is exactly what this glitter is supposed to do, but I would like to warn people who work with it that it won't last long in wet or warm material. This can be quite good for paper projects and glue. It also works well when applied over wet makeup for filming.
