I bought this item because the windscreen was tinted and my number plate was no longer clearly visible. The mount mounts fairly easily and holds fairly tight when tightened with a ratchet. The only thing that annoyed me a little was that the license plate bracket itself rotated when I screwed it onto the bracket. Hopefully an improved product will be released in the near future where you don't have to struggle with license plate rotation when tightening the bracket. I'm very glad that I didn't get an absolutely cheap product for the price. I would recommend anyone looking for a license plate frame to fit a towbar for any reason.
