Review on 🔌 Enhance Your Zune Dock Experience with the Zune Wireless Remote by Trevor Blazis

I ordered one despite seeing the mixed reviews as the price was pretty low with Prime shipping. I'm glad I did. It works with my V2 Dock - square with no problems. It also works great with my circular dock, which I use with a USB to Zune connector to sync with my PC. The only problem is that when the Zune is actually connected to the PC, it is not controlled manually. The remote control doesn't seem to work either. But if you "disconnect" the connection to the PC and just use the USB port for power, the remote works fine as expected. I ordered another one for my other Zune player/dock. Works great. I have several 30GB models that have served me well. I can't comment on this Zune HD work as I only have the 30GB non-HD model. The volume control - actually all functions - work without problems. My son uses a Zune hooked up to an amp to listen to music at night before bed and it's very convenient to be able to adjust the volume without getting up. If you click, I'll be surprised - and this will be his last breath. I think they have been kept for a long time. Simply discard (recycle) the installed battery and put in a new one and you should be good to go. Make sure you insert the battery securely and click the slider properly. I'm glad I found them and was a bit surprised to learn that my docks have been working remotely all these years.
