Review on Mr. Pen Metal Bobbins - 32 Pack: Bobbins for Sewing Machines, Brother & Singer, Plus Sewing Machine Accessories by Kristen Simpson

I have bought bobbins for my Bernina Record 830 both online and in the store. I got into the habit of checking the empty bobbins in my bobbin case before winding, after one that didn't fit properly brought the project to an abrupt halt and came frighteningly close to damaging my machine. Usually 1 in 5 rolls have to be thrown away because they don't fit due to poor build quality, burrs or being the wrong size, but I'm very glad that wasn't the case this time! Each of the 32 bobbins I received spins freely in the bobbin case and has no imperfections preventing me from using them. They are very lightly coated with clear machine oil, to prevent rust, but that's what I expected. I will note that there were coils I got elsewhere that used Tan Oil instead of Clear and I had to wash and then re-oil them. I will not wash and re-grease them.
