Review on Genie QuietLift Connect: WiFi Smart Garage Door Opener with Wireless Keypad, Voice Control Compatible (Alexa & Google Assistant), Model 3053-TKV by Russ Montgomery

Revainrating 5 out of 5

very satisfied (1 month use)

My previous opener was Genie too and we added Aladdin (smart garage door) separately. He passed away, so I looked more closely at the big names that offer a door with a smart function. Chamberlain is a good opener, but their smart software forces you to pay a commission, which is why I chose Genie. This is the quietest garage opener I've seen, a little slower than my previous door but not bad. The installation took about 2 hours. The smart garage function (Aladdin) is fully integrated and takes a little time the first time, but no more than 20 minutes. Because of this characteristic, I bought this particular knife. It reassures me that we didn't forget to close it after check out or at night. You can set rules, e.g. B. Closing the door if it is open for more than XX minutes or opening it at a certain time. You can open and close it from your phone, get notifications when the door opens and closes, allow other people to open and close it from their phone, track and view the door's opening or closing history, and more . It's the same price as many other openers and the feature is included, so it's not a problem. Also comes with a keypad that you can place outside your home and set a code.

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • No automatic
