. I've lived in northeastern Wisconsin since 2009, and in that time I may have slipped in my driveway once. This winter was a real stroke of luck as I slipped and fell twice in one week on my icy, snowy road! It hurts a lot, especially in the days that follow. Since I bought it, I can confidently step out onto the icy streets to pick up my mail, take the bin outside, and return it to the garage. I was able to get in and out of the car safely and they never slipped! I wear a women's size 10 and bought a size large. The spikes are numerous and relatively easy to climb out of the ice. I wouldn't recommend walking around in it on the floor in your house and wherever you wear your boots I would recommend getting a good rug to stand on just to protect your floor. I would recommend it to anyone living in a super icy, snowy and frozen region. They will save you a lot of heartache and sick buns!
