Review on Totally Bamboo Storage Magnetic Engraved by Esvin Hopuhnopuhlis

I've been wanting to get a salt pig for a long time to replace an old plastic to-go sauce container that I've been using for the last few years. This bamboo container is a good size, fits in the palm of my hand and doesn't take up too much space in a closet or counter. I didn't notice a strong chemical odor like other reviewers have noted. It definitely smelled, but no paint or anything like that. To me it smelled like bamboo, not at all harsh or unpleasant. I've measured how much it holds and managed to add about ¾ cup of finely granulated sea salt, maybe a teaspoon or two so the salt crystals don't interfere with the container's seal. The swivel lid worked well and the magnet was pretty strong (it got stuck on my metal spoon when I put the salt in). In general a good product. My only concern is that the "SOL" embossing is a bit off-centre, which is a little disappointing but doesn't affect functionality, so I'm deducting a star for workmanship.
