Review on Imperative Décor Floating Shelves Rustic by Joshua Morales

I was very excited when I discovered these shelves at Revain. The sellers description made them sound perfect. Unfortunately, upon receipt they are a huge disappointment. These shelves are just regular 2x6 lumber that has been cut and painted with a few holes drilled in them. Now the attachment system is a bit unique but I have no idea if it works because as soon as I saw the shelves they immediately went back into the box for return. Although I did find that the mounting brackets would not be hidden once the shelf was installed. Bought 4 shelves. Holes were drilled on 3 shelves to attach strips to the "rough" side of the lumber. For the 4th shelf, the holes were drilled from the smooth side. Thus, they could not be used for their intended purpose, which was to be wall mounted together, as they did not fit together! The return is already in progress. I suggest shelf hunters to look elsewhere.
