I like good shoes for work. This was a little different for me. I've never had a double buckle on a shoe. First let me say these shoes look great. The color of the buckle doesn't really conflict with the shoes. It's a nice glossy color, it has a nice blue interior that's said to be made out of memory foam. I had to polish it up a bit right out of the box. It comes in a nice mesh bag that you can put your shoes in to protect them from dust which is nice but I prefer to just keep my shoes in the original box to be safe. Shoes were tight at first. You can rest assured that these shoes are 100% secure and the buckles will prevent your feet from slipping out of the shoes. You have to undo the buckle to put the shoes on and the buckles can be a little tricky the first few times you break in your shoes. I recommend if you are using this for events to wear them outside. at home to dismantle. They will hurt even the right size for the first few walks until they break. The memory foam is good, but I don't think it really foams with my feet. It's not as comfortable as other memory foams I've had, but they're ok. They get dirty pretty quickly after a few hours of running. There's not much insulation either, so I recommend airing it out after use. I also recommend using thin socks rather than thick ones as they are quite tight around the buckles. Overall these shoes are great but I only recommend wearing them around the house for a bit to break in before long events.
