I ordered these with a bit of hesitation, because I'm frequently underwhelmed by the quality of stuff coming out of China. And these will be used in a relative's automotive project, so I didn't want any disappointments or complaining. But, I have to say that these LEDs seem to be of good quality and consistent construction. Average brightness, with diffused lenses (not water-clear). And, even though they are made for 12V operation (integrated 560-ohm or 680-ohm series resistors, depending on LED color), I was delighted to find that they even work well at 5V. (Not FULL brightness, mind you, but still very usable.) So, they'll work with 5V Arduinos, etc. The wire ends are tinned, too. Overall, I think the package is a great value, costing about a dime per LED-resistor-wire assembly with heat-shrink-covered leads.delivered.
