Review on 🔌 J-Tech Digital HDMI Mini Splitter - 2 Port Powered Super Mini Splitter for Full HD with 3D Capability, 1x2 1080P@60HZ by Brad Atl

I bought the 1x2 1080P version on February 7th 2016 to power two monitors from a single HD source. The device worked perfectly, but in less than two years it failed. I'm not upset with this error as the unit was on and running 24/7 the entire time, but I went with a different replacement brand with the expectation that the set of parts might be different. They are likely all assembled in the same factory and sold to dealers who package them differently. To the point where I would give this product a 5 star rating for its performance compared to another device that has never let me down. If this unit had failed sooner I would have given it 1 star. Given that it has taken almost 2 years I will give it 3 stars to average my opinion. At that bounce rate, it was costing me about $14 a year to "rent" it. I guess about a dollar a month is acceptable, but I was expecting more durability from this product.
