Works great, very stable.

I needed to replace a faulty HDMI splitter at the church that sends the signal to our large TV, as well as a VGA splitter that drives multiple additional TVs/monitors. I've tried the USB powered one. In our setup, this proved very cumbersome and inconsistent. This splitter, which has its own power supply, has proven to be much more stable and only allows me to use the HDMI cable from my computer instead of the HDMI and USB. So it works great for us. And I don't notice any drop in quality on our

Failed in less than 2 years

I bought the 1x2 1080P version on February 7th 2016 to power two monitors from a single HD source. The device worked perfectly, but in less than two years it failed. I'm not upset with this error as the unit was on and running 24/7 the entire time, but I went with a different replacement brand with the expectation that the set of parts might be different. They are likely all assembled in the same factory and sold to dealers who package them differently. To the point where I would give this…

Perfect fit for Xbox One

My setup: Verizon FIOS Motorola HD DVR Samsung 8500 Series PlasmaXbox One My son and I want to make the Xbox the main device in the house; my wife and my daughter - not so much. In order for the house to have quiet and FIOS through the Xbox, I need to split the signal so the other half can watch TV without the Xbox. If you doubt the rationality of the previous statement, read no further. I tried a very good Monoprice splitter but it didn't work. It looks like the HDMI passthrough is not…

Ideal for splitting my cable signal to another TV

Bottom line - product is from high quality and excellent work at a great price. If you want to know if this works in your particular AV situation, please read on (although it will be a bit confusing). I use two of them so I don't have to have multiple cable boxes and I can change channels or watch recorded programs from any of the three rooms (not far away). I have 1 splitter from my main cable box that uses a 25" HDMI flat cable to connect my 32" computer monitor/TV in my office/living room…

  • 2 HDMI out supports up to v1.3b and 1440p, 1 HDMI in supports up to v1.3b and 1440p

Doesn't work with DVI adapter setting

If it says HDMI Splitter, it really is. Through no fault of J-Tech or Revain (and probably pointing the finger at my ignorance), this device doesn't like an HDMI signal or pass it through to the HDMI-to-DVI adapter. Explanation: I have two ViewSonic monitors. on my PC with extended desktop. I'm using VGA on one and DVI on the other as these particular monitors (ViewSonic VA2246M) don't have HDMI inputs. So on my Dell computer I use the VGA out for one and the HDMI out for one HDMI to DVI…

So Simple is a splitter, not a switcher

After reading some reviews I was a bit nervous. However, it couldn't be simpler and does exactly what I wanted and expected. I wanted to be able to watch my Direct TV box on two TVs on opposite sides of the same wall, one in my bedroom and one in the master bathroom. I was expecting to see the same thing on both TVs and that's exactly what I wanted. So many negative reviews about this product are simply due to misguided expectations. It's a splitter, not a switch. It splits the input signal to…
