After reading some reviews I was a bit nervous. However, it couldn't be simpler and does exactly what I wanted and expected. I wanted to be able to watch my Direct TV box on two TVs on opposite sides of the same wall, one in my bedroom and one in the master bathroom. I was expecting to see the same thing on both TVs and that's exactly what I wanted. So many negative reviews about this product are simply due to misguided expectations. It's a splitter, not a switch. It splits the input signal to two output devices for display. There are no push buttons or controls on it. Both TVs must support the display of the input signal. IE both 720P and 1080P. It prevents a TV from displaying anything else (channel or resolution). It reflects an input signal to both output devices. You see the same image on both displays. You cannot connect two monitors and two computers and each device will display a different image. Without those misinformed, unreadable reviewers, this thing would have an even higher rating than it already has. six months twice a year, which wouldn't have been cool, but then again, it was just Andrew Jackson, not Benjamin, and he had a one-year replacement guarantee. It was very easy to set up, I plugged in an HDMI cable, the twisted veins cables used are amazing, from my HD receiver to the Jtech input. Connect another HDMI cable to the TV and one of the Jtech outputs. Finally, I connected the other output to an HDMI cable that ran through the wall to the HDMI keystone and output another HDMI keystone to a second TV. Both televisions support a resolution of 1080p and reproduce the signal perfectly. If you want to output different signals to two or more TVs, you need multiple inputs, HDMI cannot carry multiple channels. In this case, search for "HDMI Matrix Switcher". If you want to be able to switch input devices on the same TV, search for "HDMI switcher". This is a splitter, it works in reverse. Hope this helps someone click the button when it happens.
