My almost 15 year old B&D drill finally made it into this DIY toolbox and I needed a new one for small jobs around the house. This one came with a bunch of stuff including two batteries. This is a drill and it drills well. He's a good weight, well balanced and working. This allows me to get to places I couldn't with a corded drill, meaning I could do chores around the house. The only downside, and this is important for those in the US, is that the drill bits, sockets, etc. are all metric. Of course since it's advertised as a 3/8" drill I assumed these parts would come in standard units as well, but they aren't. But it's not a problem. Kits I've bought to use them with my old B&D and they work great. This matters to me because a lot of things are standard gauge and not metric but at least in terms of a drill it doesn't matter..Longevity remains to be seen as it's a very old one replaced the American standard, but it works well and I recommend it with reservations.
