Review on 📱 Pilot Performance Lighting Wireless Remote Switch PL-SW29 - 4 Channel by Bryan Hill

There are some very technical reviews here that cover quite a bit so I won't paraphrase that. I bought this for a marine application where I am using two electric winches to lift a small boat out of the water. I use this remote control box to power a bunch of relays so I don't run a lot of current through this box. With the remote control, I can easily raise or lower the port and starboard winches. Due to the current draw of the winches I was concerned that if I tried to start both motors at the same time my electrical switches would trip. However, this turned out to be unproblematic, since the controller only allows one output at a time. Whichever key is selected and held down is the only function that works no matter what other keys I press. Also note that this item should not be installed in the engine room of a boat where it could be exposed to explosive gasoline fumes as it is non-compliant. I've never had to extend a small antenna as I work only a few feet from the receiver so I don't know the total range. Overall I am very happy with the device and very glad I bought it.
