Review on 🚲 Adyohemt Adult Bike Helmet: Lightweight Mountain Cycling Helmet with LED Rear Light and Detachable Visor for Men and Women-Large Size (21.2''-24.4'') by Oscar Ferrell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's a little heavier than I expected. In general I still like it.

I've changed seven bike helmets since returning to cycling last summer. Out of all, this blue from Adyohemt isn't my favorite, but it's still in my top 3. The main reason it's not my favorite, despite being blue and matching my silver/blue bike color scheme, is because of its slightly bulbous size and its weight. I would like the sides of the helmet to be a bit narrower and more aerodynamic like this Sunrimoon helmet. Perhaps due to its bulbous build, it's noticeably heavier than most of my other helmets, but I got used to it quickly. The helmet is not my favorite because the buckle is too narrow, feels flimsy and harder to snap on and off; Some finger strength is required and some women may have little difficulty. The LED light was satisfactory. There were no loading instructions, but I figured it out quickly. I used a flathead screwdriver to pry the module out and charge it with a micro USB cable. It's not very bright, but acceptable. The dial on the back to adjust the fit worked as expected, but also felt a bit flimsy and too small; a larger size would be more ergonomic. At $36.99 (as of August 08, 2021), I have a feeling the helmet could be better, especially in the design of the buckle and grip. It's not perfect but I'll keep wearing it because I love the color and it wicks my sweat and heat well. 4 stars.
