Not waterproof!

I bought this because I knew it was waterproof. We put our evening wear and dress shoes in sacks and then in garbage bags on top of this suitcase. When we arrived at our destination, all our clothes were soaked to the skin, our suits needed dry cleaning, our dress shoes were ruined. Replacing these items is going to cost me hundreds of dollars. I am very dissatisfied with the purchase of this item. When it says "waterproof" it means it has to be waterproof. I even took the extra precaution of putting them in two separate bags.
