Perfect fit. When I first put them on I was afraid they would be too tight, but after a few hours they softened and were very comfortable. I have sore knees, so it's hard for me to put on sneakers. A toe hook is essential for a smooth tightening. I can't comment on the durability as I don't have high expectations given the availability of the product. To be honest, if they last a year, they're still amazingly valuable. My only downside is that they have a very strange smell. At first it seemed like I was excreting garlic through the pores, but after a few days I noticed my dog sniffing it and assumed he had smelled the scent of other dogs. Eventually I realized the smell was coming straight from the shoes. Very strange, unusual smell. I have no idea why they smell like that or how to get rid of the smell, but that's why I don't want to wear them. I still like them and the outsole design definitely takes the pressure off my knees and back. I just wish someone could tell me how to safely get rid of the annoying smell.
