Review on πŸ”‹ Tablet Accessories: Canopy Keyboard Stand for Apple Magic by Dave Rasic

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Handy, inflexible, falls apart

Handy bag/clutch for Magic Keyboard. Looks nice at first. It has serious disadvantages: - Fixed angle for the tablet. Not adjustable and I thought it was pretty cool. Don't expect to find it easy to balance on your knees. There is no friction on the tablet, which means the tablet can easily tip forward or slide sideways. This case is designed to be used on a stable, flat surface and nothing else. Materials wear out and wear out very quickly. All threads come out of the fabric and the paint on most fasteners has worn off. I had to cut it several times with scissors and I don't know what it will look like if the fabric continues to fall apart. Now it looks like a tattered canvas side bag rather than a high-end accessory that you might like if you like your accessories to look shabby. The "well" that the tablet rests in may be too deep. As others have noted, swiping up is a bit difficult on the newer iPads as the edge of the screen sits flush with the top of the keyboard. I was thinking about adding foam padding or something. On a positive note, the construction feels solid enough to be very light and comfortable. I really don't think it's worth the current price, although I don't know if there's anything else that could be used as a magic keyboard case and tablet stand like this one.
