The first device was missing one of the three small metal dots and the strap would not snap into the watch. On the replacement device, the critical center fell out of the watch case when I removed the strap. I made sure the strap was facing the right direction and placed the pieces of the strap the same way as the left strap Apple supplied. The issue of quality control. I am trying another brand of metal magnetic tape to see if there is an issue with other vendors. The price might be too good.
