Technical flooring for all purposes

These types of "kitchen” floors have come a long way. I was worried they would look like the old school ones with big holes killing your legs and anything you drop will fall through them. It was cool when they arrived and I saw what a beautiful pattern. Don't get me wrong, this is 1,000,000,000% utility/workplace flooring, this is by no means home flooring to me. Each section is made of high quality rubber/plastic. Something similar to playground carpets and most restaurant kitchens. To me they are not as hard/hard as regular kitchen mats. But I haven't worked in the kitchen for a long time. Easy to assemble and if you need to trim one to a spot or corner you can easily do this with scissors or a blade. They smell like plastic and need some airing the first time. In general, however, they are heavy, moving them in small batches is not a problem at all. Very multifunctional, there are screw holes at each corner, easy to stack and screw together. You can put two of them together into a thick "footboard" and screw all four corners for easy cleaning and use. This worked well for me in the utility shed (where the rest of the floor was used) which is on a path that gets dirty all the time. Used a few of these by the sink to clean fish for the dishes. They are easy to spray and clean or put on after a day of fishing. Overall very good quality and durability. They can be used pretty much anywhere and are very comfortable to stand on even for long hours.
