Like any other piece of equipment, when I'm in the market for a new smartphone, I take my time and carefully weigh all of the features and options. I reluctantly gave up my previous phone (a Sony Xperia XZ1), and I'd been considering making the switch from Android to Apple's ecosystem for literally the past month. This would have meant major disruptions to my multimedia services, subscriptions, and other vital data. A smartphone is becoming one of the most important tools, thus it's important that users feel good about using it from the very beginning. Finding a normal package that included "amazing camera, outstanding performance, water protection" was a huge challenge for me, but after discovering a normal discount in official retail, the S20FE quickly shot to the top of my list. You may go into great detail about the features, but in a nutshell, the smartphone is lightning fast, glitch-free, takes stunningly crisp photographs, and can handle any quantity of stuff I throw at it. The DeX mode came as a pleasant surprise. The fact that my phone can stand in for my laptop (at least sometimes) is an added plus to always having it on me. Everything from email to IM to Citrix runs smoothly, so I'm content. Although I rarely use my phone for gaming, I did try installing a few heavy hitters and found that they ran smoothly. About overheating and "throttling," Samsung takes every precaution to prevent the user from continuing to use the device once its "maximum" temperature has been achieved. It's mildly irritating. When I was uploading about two hundred images and a few films from a single event to the cloud, I was the only one present when this horrible moment occurred. If you're worried about this, I wouldn't recommend anything other than a Snapdragon-powered handset. Independence - The battery life wasn't quite what I was hoping for, but it's good enough to get me through a day of work. Auto-brightness had issues and there were bugs. After eating, they vanished. The product strikes a balance between entry-level and high-end models. This smartphone offers great value for its functionality. Recommend.
