Let's start by saying I had high hopes for the new headphones. I love Samsung advertising and have used their products for many years. The first generation Galaxy earbuds were decent but suffered from terrible call quality as the quality was absolutely terrible, the second generation was cosmetically fine except they included additional microphones which improved call quality. What I didn't like about the 1st and 2nd gen was that it felt congested when in the ear. Gen 2 ambient through noise was groundbreaking for me at the time as it allowed me to be isolated and then not. That I bought a pair of AirPods Pro and the world has changed. The noise cancellation on my Air Pods Pro was insane. When it was on everything was absolutely quiet and I felt very private and I loved that. When I turned on Ambient Sound Mode, which let outside noise back into my ear, I remember saying "wow!" I could hear my music and people talking to me at the same time and it was so clear it was like I didn't even have Bluetooth headphones on. This is a little background, now let's get down to business! Unboxing was nice and the new color is quite unusual. When I first put the headphones in, I put them in like a pro and they fit quite comfortably. Note that Samsung includes extra ear tips for your ears if they don't fit your ears. I turned on bass mode via the Galaxy Wearable app and was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. GALAXY BUDS LIVE GET LOUDGER THAN AIRPODS AND MUCH MORE BASS. These headphones have a fresh look to appeal to buyers in this segment but lack all of the ACTIVE NOISE CANCELING IN BUDS LIVE. I sat in my room with the fan noisy, toggled the noise canceling on and off and heard no difference. Conclusion: These are not the best headphones. are they affordable? They're lightweight, stylish, produce amazing bass and have amazing battery life, and THAT'S IT. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THINGINKIMG THEY WILL REPLACE YOUR AIRPODS PRO YOU WONTSamsung really could have made an airpods pro killer here but they missed the mark. I feel like they have no right to promote noise canceling claims as that is simply not true.
