This is a great landing net, big enough to catch the most determined artist fish! The claim that fish *are* not allowed to see red is, of course, a false advertising claim. My guess is that the only fish that can't see this net is the blind cave fish. However, its superior size makes it unavoidable. I had to renew my tiny fishing nets when I brought my goldfish to an outdoor pool after they outgrew their small tank and that was it! They are easy to pick up when changing the water in the pool.
