Penn Plax Infrared Quick Aquarium Review

Bought to catch insects that enter the house, not fish. And it works very well! Two days ago I caught a wasp and put it back on the street where it belongs. Two thumbs up! 👍🏼 👍🏼

Sometimes works. Some fish, such as Catfish, for example, find this net difficult to see and easier to catch. Other fish like swordtails can see it like any other net. The processing quality is very good. I would buy this again.

This is a nice and strong net. But the fish sees it just as well as the nets of a different color. As such, I would not recommend purchasing this in place of another color. Just choose what is of good quality as they will be scared of it anyway.

The nets are made of high quality material as described. That's a fantastic idea that makes a lot of sense in infrared, since red is the first color to disappear in the ocean. dive and catch marine fish for our aquariums. This is a great landing net, big enough to catch the most determined artist fish! The claim that fish *are* not allowed to see red is, of course, a false advertising claim. My guess is that the only fish that can't see this net is the blind cave fish. However, its superior size makes it unavoidable. I had to renew my tiny fishing nets when I brought my goldfish to an outdoor pool after they outgrew their small tank and that was it! They are easy to pick up when changing the water in the pool.
