My Moen shower handle became difficult to turn over time and then twisted without turning off the water. I removed the pin and took out the old cartridge. It was difficult to pull it out, there is a tool to remove it if you can't. I was able to pull it off because pound for pound I'm the strongest man alive. Anyway, it's easy to install, comes with instructions or Moen has a YouTube video. It comes with lube so you don't have to buy it extra. The shower works like new.
