Review on Humminbird GRP Precision GPS Receiver by Terry West

I bought this antenna to replace the original antenna that came with my 998C SI unit. The antenna stopped working after two years. This new antenna required a software update on the 998C but worked flawlessly after that. It was installed on my boat and is now working fine. The system will receive a 3D fix quality signal within a few seconds of being turned on. It accurately shows my position on the map. I recommend this product to others. July 2014 I have been using this device for 13 months now. It was working fine two weeks ago, but now the 998C doesn't even see it. This is an expensive device if it only lasts a month beyond the warranty period.
