I used to have one of those 'throttle locks' on a Honda Magna and it worked pretty well as far as I can remember. I currently have a Honda 919 Hornet and the throttle lockout did not fit out of the box. The description says "For dual throttle cable" but before that it also says "Fits most 7/8 Honda motorcycles". a plastic sheath attached to the cables themselves. After all this, I had to cut off one of the tabs on the device because it didn't fit into either cable (the opening wasn't wide enough), so I selected a tab and stuck it between both cables. It worked. Now you have to ride it a bit, adjust it, ride some more and see where it gets stuck without snagging too much. So why 5 stars? Well it WORKS - it's not perfect but worth the $21 in my opinion.
