This pair of shoes is very cute. Big daughter wears size 8 shoes and size 8 fits her. However, as can be seen in the first two photos, the top of Mrs. Pott's shoes rubbed the wound on her leg after wearing them once. My husband and I figured it was just a design flaw and had her teacher file the top so she wouldn't bleed. Today I was in a retail store and saw the same shoes but Mrs. Potts was positioned very differently as can be seen in the 3rd photo. So we will send them back and buy other shoes. These shoes aren't worth the blood. I believe they are real. Came in a bag in a mini Melissa box. But I won't spend $40 on shoes that chafe after the first wear when they look so much better in the store.
