Not bad but not perfect

I have used the binoculars several times and they are very good! The picture quality is very good. The image focus can be adjusted easily and steplessly. The eyepieces have adjustable eyecups to remove the exit pupil. Look at the photos to see how far they are adjustable. There is a padded carrying case with an adjustable shoulder strap and a small microfiber cloth for cleaning the lenses. There's also a soft, adjustable neck strap that attaches to binoculars and soft rubber lens caps at each end. Large lens caps have a strap that secures the lens cap to the device but can be removed if necessary. A minor issue is that the straps holding the large lens caps to the binoculars body prevent the two sides from closing at their tightest setting. I mean in order for my eyes to see properly through each lens I have to close the binoculars completely, but the rubber bands on the lens cap interfere and prevent that. This is only an issue for me personally as my eyes are closer together so not everyone does this will have trouble. It's also easy to fix by simply removing one or both lens cap straps, but it's a little annoying. See photos. I also noticed that there are dust particles in my device. See photo. In my photo, the outer lens is perfectly clean, so the dust you see is on the inside. Dust is not visible when looking through the eyepieces, as is common when using binoculars, but you can see the dust inside if you look into the unit from the other side through the large lenses. The accessories are beautiful. I really like the phone mount which has a locking setting for the part that holds the phone adapter to the eyepiece. The tripod is okay too - it works, but is a bit limited as the legs can't be fixed in different positions. The legs are held in place by a lot of friction, so they need to be opened to their maximum angle for maximum stability. They are stable enough for viewing or photographing when fully extended, but this causes the binoculars to drop too low for some phones to fit the binoculars and makes it difficult to align your eyes with the eyepiece as the binoculars are too close to the table . See photos. The big disappointment is the tripod adapter. The adapter should screw into the housing halfway between the two lenses, but it doesn't fit, so the screw doesn't line up with the threaded hole. This actually works when the entire binocular is upside down, which is fine if you just want to take a picture with your phone when using a tripod, but it gets a little more difficult to get to the eyepieces when the binoculars are on is upside down. Additionally, gravity wants to pull down large lens caps and block your view, so they may need to be removed if you're using a tripod.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • A lot
