Review on High-Quality Teac TN-300SE-WA Analog Belt Drive Turntable In Walnut Finish by Tom Reasons

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Just to share my experience

I bought this item as an earlier model the LP-R500, which did not include the USB feature, but was able to record from the radio to cd. Mine was manufactured in 2007, and I bought it new ($450) from another company (not Revain) in 2012. It lasted me 8 years. I used the conversion feature the most. I recorded MET Sat afternoon operas for 6 years (from Dec-May), and then I converted about 100 cassette tapes. Today, I turned it on to open the cd slot, and it wouldn't open, and within 30 seconds, electric smoke started coming out of the cd slot. The end of this beautiful machine that gave me such joy these short 8 years. I had no problems with any of the other features, though I used them lightly. Overall, it provided me with what I wanted. Now I just need to replace it. Hope yours does as well, or better!

Pros

Cons
  • Sensitive to stylus alignment
