It worked so well my son grabbed it himself without leaving me any pictures for this review! The designers have illuminated this touchscreen in three different colors for better readability and comprehension. It's great to make the range big so short fingers can maneuver without confusing the numbers! Real-time temperature monitoring, alarms and cooking time reminders are very helpful when working on other tasks in the kitchen. Strong magnets on the back for hanging at eye level are also a big plus. This thermometer has 5 cooking levels for each meat. The probe is approximately 6.5 inches long with ample cord length of 40 inches for use in the oven, grill, or smoker.
