Review on πŸ”΄ FlatOut Tire Sealant Sportsman Formula - Prevent Flat Tires, Seal Leaks, with Valve Core Tool, 32-Ounce Bottle, 1-Pack, RED by Kevin Silver

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great product that makes people forget to use Sl!me in their tires.

I owned my share of mt. Cycles. Luckily I don't have many flat tires. But a flat tire on the mountain. bike and one on e-mt. Bicycle, these are two different situations. The size, weight and ease of removing the (rear) tires on an e-bike make it rather tedious. I started looking for ways to avoid this. Many options are available including liquids like Sl!me and other similar products at a lower price. And finally, the expensive rubber/synthetic treads (like fancy, split, pool noodles) used in your tire to protect your bike tube. I forgot their names but most bikers know them. Expensive! After reading countless YouTube videos and articles, I realized people LOVE this Flat Out product. AND WORKS GREAT. It will seal larger holes than the competition and will last much longer in your pipe compared to the expected lifespan of competing products. It's easy to install. And when I read that some people are complaining about "installation problems", it's definitely operator error on their part. Watch a short video on YT (there are many) how to mount it, follow the instructions and it will take you 10-20 minutes to mount BOTH tires on your bike. The only reason it takes so long is because you have to remove the valve stem (just unscrew it with the little tool that comes with the kit) to fully deflate your tire. ENSURE your valve stem is in the UP (12 o'clock) position before beginning the Flat-Out Gel/Fluid installation. Make sure the clear mounting tube is securely attached to the valve stem. Then do it slowly and push it. Keep some paper towels handy for minor troubles. Reinstall valve stem. Pump up the tire again. KNOW IN ADVANCE HOW MUCH flat-out to put in your tires. I contacted Flat-Out and they told me to use 16 ounces (half a bottle) in EVERY tire I have. But I have fat 26 x 4.0 inch tires on my bike. Standardized mt. The bike will need MUCH less. I've been running this tire for a few months now and haven't had any problems. This will go into all my mt. Bikes, from here. Try it, it works. Remember that there is NO product that can prevent ALL punctures. But it will protect you much better than some of its competitors (which somehow survive, mainly because of their notoriety).
