As a Registered Dietitian, I love this product for all the great foods it contains AND doesn't contain. Since the average person with an autoimmune disease severely restricted in their food choices such as gluten (and mostly grains), dairy, soy, corn, no nightshade and no added sugars is limited to 20g per day, I loved this article Charmed. Understandably, I read a lot of labels when it comes to my diet. This label is impressive. I wanted something nutritious that is smooth, quick and easy. I made the first glass with 8 ounces of water per the directions. The color of this product is a very interesting shade of green that comes from Spirulina, a superfood known for its excellent source of antioxidants and its ability to fight inflammation. With water alone this product wasn't my favorite as it has a strong uh. a surprisingly good list of ingredients for you that, when mixed together, seem more like an acquired taste. Not wanting to give up, I mixed some of the powder with vanilla almond milk. Oh! Much better, at least for me. I didn't add a full scoop to the 8 ounces of almond milk, I just poured about 2 ounces of milk into a cup, shook in some powder, and stirred. I will continue to work on the ratio or any other drink I find suitable for my tastes as this product is too nutritious to pass up. I don't know what kind of drink it will be because I've only drunk water my whole exciting life. Try it! Let me know if you find a recipe you like. I also had a problem closing the bag. I just rolled it up and clipped it on. I must also say that the owner of the company is very responsive to emails and works very hard to create a product that we can all benefit from.
