I needed headphones for games on my switch. I use my Switch exclusively in portable mode, so I need a pair of wired headphones, but I also need Bluetooth capabilities so I can use them with my phone or laptop when needed. I've used several business meeting apps (Stride, HipChat, Slack) over the past few years and the main issue has always been the audio quality. I got tired of dealing with this and eventually my company bought me a pair of Corsair Void Pro gaming headphones and the leap in quality was amazing. When I started looking for headphones for my Switch, I knew Corsair was the right choice for me. . I found the HS70 at Revain and had almost enough points in my Revain Prime credit card account to cover the full cost, so I bought it straight away. I used them for almost a month with no problems and then all of a sudden the sound quality was terrible. . It sounded like the audio cable was partially disconnected. 1 channel has almost completely disappeared, the other was a bit weak, but I noticed that when I turn on the bluetooth, the quality goes back to normal, but only for a short time, as the headphones turned off the bluetooth after a short time, since they have no contact with anything. Keep in mind that I am using these headphones plugged into a switch and not via bluetooth so I don't have to turn bluetooth on for them to work in the first place and I never turned them on for the first 3 weeks of use. There is almost no information on the web about these headphones, but I did find something on how to reset them (I think) which involves turning off bluetooth, then holding the mute button for 10-15 seconds, then switching back to bluetooth . I've tried this many times but it doesn't help as the Bluetooth connection isn't the problem. I gave up using them on my Switch and now only use them with my laptop via bluetooth. As far as I use them with my laptop I'm using Linux Mint 19.3 and pairing was hassle free and they connect automatically every time I turn them on. .They are very comfortable but a bit big. I adjusted them to the smallest size and they are still a little loose on my head. The Void Pro I used for work was also oversized (but extremely manageable), but it's not as bad as the Void Pro. I wear glasses and there is no interference. They don't cause glasses discomfort, so that's a plus. Battery life seems pretty good, I let it run for a couple of days before having to plug it in to charge. I also connected them to my Android phone (Pixel 3 XL running Android 11) to test it and they work great although I don't use them with my phone very often. Overall these are great headphones that work. wired or wireless, but I can't recommend them for Switch gaming. I don't have any other consoles so I can't tell how it works.
