Nissan Pathfinder from 2005 to 2008 has a known problem with the original radiator. It leaks and contaminates the transmission. A friend of mine who has a 2005 Pathfinder had a transmission problem and asked the dealer to fix the problem and 2 years later had another transmission problem. I ended up selling mine at a loss. As for me, I decided to replace the original radiator, although not a problem, to avoid a bigger problem. My Pathfinder has clocked up 220,000 miles and is still working. The only issue I had was 13 to 14 mpg on gas, mostly around town. But still better than car payments.
