Great lamp. The mount looks a little cheap, but it fits securely and doesn't vibrate on my gravel roads. This thing really puts out a lot of light - and heat! Holding my hand 12 inches from the front makes me warm! This worries me if there will be enough passive cooling fins to keep it running for long. Someone asked if it was waterproof. I'd say the LED part might be it, but the case itself isn't. The cheap 90° metal bracket that attaches to the aluminum case with two screws is the actual back cover. There is no seal between the bracket and the housing. In fact, 95% of the interior is empty and only the very front is used for LEDs and circuitry. I believe this is necessary for heat dissipation. In any case, the cable that comes with the kit is too short. Unless your e-bike controller is steering wheel mounted, be prepared for additional splicing. My controller is in a pocket under my seat, so I had to add about 3 feet of cable. Instead of splicing 10 inches from the flashlight, I spliced inside the flashlight body and used the same size and wire type as the OEM. It looks just like the original and extends all the way to the controller. If you're good with heat shrink tubing, then this is a pretty easy mod. In general, I'm very happy with the performance of the flashlight. In fact, I'm a bit concerned that oncoming traffic might blind me.
