Purchased for use on a small 125 bike. As a motorcyclist for 40 years I know how important safety is and being noticed is the biggest issue when riding two wheels! These lights are incredibly bright! I wired them to only turn on when the high beams are on. They DEFINITELY help my night vision but my biggest concern is being seen! You will surely take care of this situation!

I did some testing and found that the intensity dropped by around 20-40% after just a few minutes (depending on temperature). I disassembled the block to solder on a longer wire and replaced the sparse silicon based heatsink sealant with an extra Arctic Silver 3 CPU interconnect I had and added some threads to the case (thought it would help with weatherproofing ). Let's get straight to the point as many reviews say it's very bright. Not sure what they mean. It's great that its body is not plastic, it's easy to install, depending on the type of bike and the place of installation. It's bright but certainly not 20 watts/2000lm as advertised, tested against 300lm and it could barely achieve that. It would be nice if the seller corrected the description. This lamp is ideal for long bike rides at night. It makes you visible and safe. There are enough wires attached to get to a power source (a 12v lithium battery in my case <not included>) and even a working one with a dimmer circuit, although it doesn't dim smoothly. Great lamp. The mount looks a little cheap, but it fits securely and doesn't vibrate on my gravel roads. This thing really puts out a lot of light - and heat!
