I did some testing and found that the intensity dropped by around 20-40% after just a few minutes (depending on temperature). I disassembled the block to solder on a longer wire and replaced the sparse silicon based heatsink sealant with an extra Arctic Silver 3 CPU interconnect I had and added some threads to the case (thought it would help with weatherproofing ). When tested again, after 20 minutes the light dimmed only 5% and the slats got much warmer. All in all a great flashlight for the money!
