I don't know what these other people are smoking that say these magnets are "STRONG" in all capitals. I was planning on using these on the bottom of my oil pan (purchased a new one since the one on my car has a dent) but after attaching them to the bottom and using some metal nail clippers on the other side to see how strong it was, I could barely feel the magnetic pull. The oil pan is only about the thickness of a quarter so it's not even super thick material or anything. I stuck about 5-6 of them side by side on the bottom of the pan to try again and even then, it would 'attract' the nail clippers slightly but would not stick to it.Also, to everyone who breaks these, I really do not see how you are managing that unless you are TRYING to. A drop or letting one go so it smashes into another one or a piece of metal I can understand, but y'all saying their breaking in your hands, or if you are just trying to get them apart. As long as you are being cautious and mindful of your surroundings with them you should not be having any problems.
