Review on Durablow TR2004 Gas Fire Fireplace On/Off Remote Control Kit + Thermostat + Timer + Backlit Transmitter For Millivolt Valve, IPI Module, Replaces Wall Switch Or Thermostat by Samuel Reppa

Purchased this for our gas fireplace/stove. Good price, and fairly easy installation, however the remote constantly looses "connection" with the receiver. We've tried various placements of both the receiver and the remote, but after a few hours it inevitably starts beeping, which indicates the receiver has lost connection with the remote. We've ensured the remote has fresh batteries, and the receiver is an AC plugin. so power is not an issue. Would have otherwise given a much higher rating, but the connectivity issue is very troublesome. Sent an email to the seller, and have gotten no response. Not good.
