I brought this iron after only a few uses despite warnings about paint chipping. Well, as the reviews say, the iron is definitely cracked. I think it works fine. It gets hot, but honestly it can get too hot and burn your hair if you're not careful. If you buy one, just know that unless the manufacturer changes the design, your iron will break down like everyone else in just a few short weeks. So disappointing as it isn't a cheaper iron $$$ The functions are also very complex and if I want to make any changes to the settings I have to pull out the manual.
