Ultra-light portable shortwave receiver with excellent value for money. I've only had it a few weeks and I've already registered a lot of shortwave stations from around the world and had some fun with my PL-380. I wish it had a connector for an external antenna and the ability to adjust the sound. But again, given the price, I'm amazed at the sensitivity, selectivity, and full functionality of this little radio. Filters with variable selectivity work quite well. If you are interested in learning about shortwave and all it has to offer I would recommend this as a great way to see what is available on the broadcast bands. Haven't found any major flaws yet. That whets the appetite for SSB-enabled radios. A fun way to get started without spending a fortune. Have fun!73'sjblanke
