The volume is a little touchy. Very big difference between level 3 and 4, almost to loud. There is a screen protector applied when you open the box with some warning info on it, but be careful when you remove it because there is a second protector behind it. The electrical is very straight forward to install as long as you take your time. I used the picture that was provided to hook everything up. Took me just over an hour, i ran the wiring just to get it into place. The GPS antenna was placed under my front most trim (07 Suburban) where the factory sensor would be. It takes no time what-so-ever for the antenna to pic up a signal. Volume is loud when talking on the phone but the person you are speaking to will hear themselves depending on where the microphone is placed. I'm planing on moving mine to replace the on star microphone. There are plenty of settings to work through to make it right, once I have worked through them I will up date this review.
