Review on ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Universal Rubbermaid Recycling Container with Increased Capacity by Reza Cook

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautiful blue color and recycle logo.

The 3.4 gallon trash can had to be ordered online because I couldn't find it in stores. I found a 7 gallon basket at Home Depot. I had to go through a bunch of them before I could find one with a decent "Recycle" logo print. Many of them were scratched, smudged or had other blemishes. Therefore, if you find these containers in stores, check the print quality. I got lucky as my online purchase, the 3.4 gallon basket, was well done. I really like the blue color and the recycle logo. The logo is printed, not a sticker that is applied on one side only. The other side is blank. The logos on both of mine were well centered but placed closer to the top. Rubbermaid's jars are well made and don't have the white scuff marks on the edges and rims that lower quality jars have. The 4 gallon bags at the discount store (quantity 50) will normally fit a 3.4 gallon trash can but leave some room at the bottom edges. due to the tapering of the pouches. This shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't overstuff it and stuff it with something really heavy that can pull the bag from the edge. I use my 3.4 gallon container for shredded paper that I bag for recycling. I bought some 3/4 inch vinyl decals to mark and decorate.
