Not just for covering toilet seats.
These lids are as durable and functional as anything I've ever used in a public bathroom. I have to admit I don't use them to cover my toilet seat at home. I place one or two on the surface of the toilet water and then explode, not afraid of uncontrolled splatters of not-too-clean toilet water flying everywhere. They solved what was always a big dirty pain behind me. I'm happy.
