Review on 🏎️ Mishimoto MMRT-MUS-15E Expansion Tank Review - Compatible with Ford Mustang EcoBoost V6 V8 2015-2018 Silver by Michael Hall

I was a bit concerned based on the reviews of the cap and bought it for the GT350 but after noticing the Mustang GT uses the same 21psi cap I decided to try it. After receiving this and facing the same tight lid issue that everyone else mentions in these reviews, I considered sending it back, but I'm very glad I didn't. It fits the cap just as snugly as the original Ford coolant reservoir, but I found a little trick that made my job a lot easier. My guess is that the inner plastic part of this cover may not be centered in the hole, making it appear like the protectors are the wrong size. When I start tightening the cap, which doesn't happen properly, I just tap the top of the cap as it starts to tighten, which seems to center the inside, allowing me to fully tighten the cap without using any other tools. I love the look of this coolant reservoir and the coolant level window on the side is one of the main reasons I bought this reservoir and no others.
